- It's a public holiday, that means people don't work that day.

- It is celebrated on the day after Christmas, that is to say, on December 26th.

Origin?
- Traditionally, it was the day to open the Christmas Box to share the contents with the poor. In the Christmas Box , people used to put presents / gifts for the poor.

What happens now on Boxing Day?
-People usually stay with their relatives / family and enjoy themselves playing board games, watching tv or going for a walk in the countryside. They can also go shopping looking for the New Year Sales!
